Partners is seeking an experienced **Software Development Engineer II (SDE II)** to help design, build, and scale the proprietary technology that powers our commercial finance platform.Riverhead develops software across client acquisition, financing workflows, lender matching, pipeline management, automation, data processing, analytics, and internal operations.As an SDE II, you’ll take ownership of significant features and technical initiatives from **architecture and design through implementation, deployment, and ongoing improvement**.This role is designed for an engineer who can operate with a high degree of independence, understand complex business requirements, make sound technical decisions, and translate those requirements into scalable production systems.You’ll work directly with engineering, operations, sales, underwriting, and company leadership to shape the technology behind Riverhead.## What You’ll Do* Design, develop, deploy, and maintain production software across Riverhead’s proprietary technology platform* Own significant features and engineering projects from initial requirements through production* Design scalable frontend, backend, database, and API architectures* Translate complex business and operational requirements into well-designed technical solutions* Build and improve systems supporting commercial financing workflows* Develop integrations with financial technology platforms, data providers, communication systems, and other third-party services* Design automation that eliminates repetitive work and improves operational efficiency*
