Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is seeking an experienced software engineer to drive development for new EC2 Machine Learning platforms within the MLS team.

You will work with a broad group of technical teams to develop hardware, firmware, systems and application software in a Linux environment. The ideal candidate has solid CS fundamentals and expertise in C/C++ or Rust, with experience in Linux package management, version control, automated builds, and unit testing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience (design patterns, reliability and scaling).
• 1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
• 1+ years of designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered or distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services using C#/C++/Java/Perl.
• 1+ years of Object Oriented Design experience.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.

Responsibilities

• Drive development for new EC2 Machine Learning platforms and related software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop hardware, firmware, systems and applications.
• Contribute to Linux environment tooling, testing, and build processes.
