Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Seattle is hiring a Software Development Engineer to design, build, and operate provisioning services for AWS WorkSpaces, supporting humans and AI agents across Windows and Linux.

You will own end-to-end delivery from design through deployment with emphasis on low latency, high availability, and security. You will work on agent unification, identity security, and platform-wide tooling, collaborating across teams and regions to ensure robust, scalable

Qualifications

3+ years of non‑internship software development experience.
2+ years of design or architecture experience for new or existing systems.
1+ years of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
1+ years of designing and developing large‑scale, multi‑tiered or distributed software.

Responsabilités

Design and deliver features and systems within On‑Instance Software in WorkSpaces.
Drive the agent unification work enabling Windows and Linux features from a single codebase.
Design and implement on‑instance identity security and governance across humans and agents.
Own the operation of low‑latency, high‑availability provisioning and agent services for over a million WorkSpaces users.
Drive engineering excellence through instrumentation, automated testing, and deployment pipelines across Windows and Linux.
Raise the bar on customer self‑service with safe automatic updates and reliable provisioning.
