Meet the Team

The Cisco Catalyst SDWAN Security Operations team ensures the security of SaaS environments for the Department of Defense, U.S. Federal, and commercial customers, adhering to cloud security best practices and compliance standards.

The Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Federal (SDWAN-G) & Defense (SDWAN-D) Operations Team builds, deploys, and manages SD-WAN cloud infrastructure for the US Federal Government.

Your Impact

This role involves designing, implementing, and managing Catalyst SD-WAN Security Operations.

It includes overseeing the product lifecycle of SDWAN-G, SDWAN-D, and commercial environments, including ordering, provisioning, and onboarding.

The role collaborates with multiple clouds and teams to secure controllers and services for Catalyst SD-WAN.

Responsibilities include assessing and improving security posture, implementing security monitoring, automating controls, and reporting.

You will actively monitor security in commercial and Federal environments, participate in vulnerability management, lead risk analysis, and optimize SecOps efficiency globally.

You will manage operations of SDWAN-G and SDWAN-D customer environments, including patching, upgrades, support, and lifecycle activities.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in cloud security
• 5+ years in Risk, Security, and Privacy standards across frameworks like NIST and ISO
• Excellent emotional intelligence and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise with SD-WAN technology
• Experience with cloud services like AWS, Azure
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and cryptography
• Strong skills in security operations, virtualization, IaC, and SD-WAN
• Coding and automation skills in Python, Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCIE are preferred
