Job summary

Ztek Consulting INC is seeking a Network Engineer to join our onsite Chicago team. The role involves designing, deploying, and supporting network solutions for international business units, partners, and customers.

You will collaborate with engineering and operations to implement robust WAN/SD-WAN architectures. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in network engineering with branch WAN migrations and strong knowledge of security, virtualization, and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in network engineering.
• Experience with branch site WAN migrations is required with focus on Zscaler solutions.
• In depth knowledge of networking technologies, design principles, and practical application of routers/switches.
• Knowledge of network security solutions (firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, WAFs).
• Certifications in Zscaler SD-WAN ZTB or Cisco/ Palo Alto are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Migrate branch sites from MPLS to Zscaler SD-WAN as part of a global transform project.
• Analyze business needs; gather requirements, design, install, troubleshoot, and support network solutions.
• Participate in meetings with customers and IT staff to qualify opportunities and technical solutions.
