Job summary

The Nassal Company in Orlando is seeking a skilled Sculptor/Scenic Fabricator to join the Cast Department. You will sculpt, fabricate, and finish foam, clay, epoxy, and related materials for themed environments, aligning with design intent while meeting timelines and safety standards.

You’ll collaborate with designers and lead or assist junior teammates, ensuring high craftsmanship, texture detailing, and project readiness for immersive experiences.

Qualifications

• 1–6+ years of sculpting experience in themed entertainment, fine arts, or scenic fabrication.
• Knowledge of foam, clay, epoxy, and fiberglass materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and artistic references.
• Familiarity with molding, casting, and finishing techniques.
• Strong craftsmanship with high attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills; supervisory experience preferred for Lead-level candidates.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety regulations, PPE requirements, and shop procedures.
• Fabricate and finish scenic components, props, and themed elements according to designs.
• Sculpt and shape foam, clay, and epoxy-based materials to match design intent.
• Apply textures and surface treatments for realism and accuracy.
• Collaborate with designers and project leads to plan and execute sculptural work.
• Inspect quality and maintain clean, safe work areas; operate tools safely.
• Coordinate sculpting activities and mentor junior team members as needed.
• Participate in cross-department collaboration for cohesive project execution.
