Job summary

KellyMitchell Group is seeking an experienced Scrum Master V to support the agile delivery of SAP S/4HANA within a hybrid scaled Agile environment as part of a multi-year digital transformation modernizing ERP across finance, supply chain, HR, and Enterprise Health & Safety.

The role requires 5+ years as a Scrum Master for enterprise-scale delivery, SAP experience, and proficiency with Jira/Confluence; local Oakland candidates preferred for hybrid onsite coordination.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Scrum Master for enterprise-scale delivery.
• Experience on an ERP program or SAP support organization.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ERP such as SAP ECC/Oracle/Workday.
• Experience with S/4HANA or SuccessFactors.
• Strong Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid Agile delivery models.
• Experience in scaled Agile environments such as SAFe and cross-team dependencies.
• Proficient with Jira; familiar with Confluence, MS Project, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Scrum Master for 1-2 cross-functional Agile teams supporting SAP initiatives.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support Agile delivery within PMO structures, including stage gates and RAID logs.
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, SAP consultants, and technical teams to prioritize backlogs.
• Support data migration, testing, cutover, and integration with Agile delivery.
• Participate in PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and System Demos.
• Track Agile metrics and team progress using Jira and Confluence.

Job Summary

Our client, a leading utility company, is seeking an experienced Scrum Master V to support the agile delivery of SAP S/4HANA within a hybrid scaled Agile environment. This role is part of a multi-year digital transformation program focused on modernizing core ERP systems across finance, supply chain, Human Resources, and Enterprise Health & Safety.

Contract Details

Contract: 22 weeks Location: Oakland, CA Work Arrangement: Hybrid - 3 days onsite, Tuesday - Thursday Local Candidates Only

Core Responsibilities

• Serve as a Scrum Master for 1-2 cross-functional Agile teams supporting SAP functional, technical, and business initiatives
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
• Support Agile delivery while working within traditional PMO structures, including stage gates, deliverables, RAID logs, and other governance requirements
• Coordinate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, SAP consultants, system integrators, and technical teams to maintain prioritized backlogs and manage dependencies
• Support data migration, testing, cutover, and other workstreams that integrate with Agile delivery
• Participate in scaled Agile activities such as PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and System Demos
• Track Agile metrics and team progress using tools such as Jira and Confluence

Required Skills/Experience (Must-Haves)

• 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting enterprise-scale Agile delivery
• Experience as a Scrum Master on an ERP program or within an SAP Support organization
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or another major ERP platform such as SAP ECC, Oracle, or Workday
• Experience working with S/4HANA or SuccessFactors
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid Agile delivery models
• Experience working in scaled Agile environments such as SAFe and managing cross-team dependencies
• Proficiency with Jira and familiarity with Confluence, MS Project, or similar tools

Preferred Skills/Experience (Nice-to-Haves)

• Experience with S/4HANA with an emphasis on data, including data conversion, cleansing, reporting, and analytics
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and traditional SAP project phases
• Experience coordinating with SAP functional areas such as FI/CO, MM, PM, or SD
• Experience working with SAP technical teams including Basis, ABAP, or PI/PO
• Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation or ERP modernization programs
• Experience working with Release Train Engineers, Solution Architects, and other Scrum Masters
• Experience supporting integration between Agile teams and waterfall-driven workstreams

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: The approximate pay range for this position is between $52.00 and $75.00 per hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and location. We comply with local wage minimums.
