We are seeking an experienced and motivated Scrum Master to facilitate Agile processes and practices across development teams. The Scrum Master will be responsible for ensuring the team lives Agile values and principles and follows the practices and processes agreed upon by the team. The ideal candidate will drive the team, be a leader, effective communicator, thoughtful planner, organizer and strong facilitator who removes obstacles and enables high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide and coach one or more Scrum Teams on Agile practices and values.
  • Actively plan work ahead to optimize for team goals and align activities with relevant stakeholders, milestones and schedules.
  • Anticipate and adjust, always thinking of contingency plans for planned work and be able to deal with changes in a positive and proactive way.
  • Motivate the team to keep pushing themselves and over-deliver.
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-up, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospective).
  • Remove impediments and blockers to the team’s progress.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to ensure a well-defined product backlog.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Shield the team from outside interruptions and distractions.
  • Track and report on Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts, cycle time).
  • Assist with team capacity planning and forecasting.
  • Ensure proper use of Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence.
  • Promote a safe and open environment for feedback and idea sharing.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, especially Scrum and Kanban.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Preferred
  • Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I or higher).
  • Experience working in a scaled Agile environment (e.g., SAFe, LeSS).
  • Background in software development or technical project management.
Soft Skills
  • Self-motivated, organized, and proactive.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation abilities.
  • Able to lead without authority and influence team behavior.
