Scrum Master - Salesforce Projects
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives) across multiple Salesforce project teams.
- Serve as a Servant Leader, enabling the team to deliver high-value Salesforce solutions that meet user needs and State compliance.
- Remove impediments, track team progress, and promote continuous improvement in Agile practices.
- Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging transparency, team ownership, and accountability.
- Guide product owners in writing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria for Salesforce features.
- Educate business users and technical teams on Scrum principles, Agile mindset, and roles/responsibilities.
- Promote Agile/Scrum practices across State IT departments to ensure consistent adoption and process alignment.
- Support the adoption of Salesforce Agile Accelerator, Jira, or equivalent Agile management tools.
- Ensure all delivery meets the State’s quality, security, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Scrum Master working in Agile environments within Public Sector or Federal IT projects.
- At least 3+ years of hands-on experience facilitating Scrum practices within Salesforce project teams.
- Proven experience driving Agile adoption across multi-team enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce development lifecycle, workflows, user stories, and configuration best practices.
- Proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Salesforce Agile Accelerator.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Salesforce-specific certifications (e.g., Salesforce Admin, Platform App Builder).
- Experience with change management, Agile coaching, and team maturity assessments.
- Knowledge of government security and compliance standards such as NIST 800-171.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams involving developers, BAs, testers, architects, and external vendors.
