Oxagile is seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Project Manager to lead Agile delivery for a major US Northeast insurance technology program. You will facilitate ceremonies, maintain Jira boards, track milestones and risks, and coordinate cross-functional teams including offshore resources.

The role blends hands-on team facilitation with governance, ensuring transparency, RAID logs, and effective stakeholder reporting while upholding established processes and culture.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Scrum Master/PM roles or blended Agile delivery
• Strong Scrum knowledge and practical Agile execution
• Hands-on Jira: boards, sprints, workflows
• Solid PM skills: milestones, risks, dependencies, escalation
• Experience maintaining RAID logs and communicating health to leadership
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Experience with distributed teams and multiple partners

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives
• Maintain Jira boards, workflows, and sprint configuration for accurate delivery status
• Track milestones, dependencies, risks, issues; maintain RAID logs and action items
• Identify impediments, coordinate resolution, escalate when needed
• Coordinate work across technical leads, QE, developers, external consultants, offshore resources
• Prepare concise status reports and leadership readouts on progress, risks, decisions
• Serve as a trusted liaison between business and technology stakeholders
• Support cross-team initiatives as scope grows

Must-have

• 10+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or in a combined Agile delivery role
• Strong knowledge of Scrum and practical Agile delivery
• Hands‑on Jira experience: managing boards, configuring and maintaining sprints, team workflows
• Solid project management skills: milestones, risk and issue management, dependency coordination, escalation, status reporting
• Experience maintaining RAID logs and communicating project health to stakeholders and leadership
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with geographically distributed teams and multiple delivery partners
• Ability to drive accountability while respecting established processes and culture

Is a plus

• Property & casualty insurance or other insurance domain experience (billing, claims, subrogation)
• Experience with Guidewire, Duck Creek, InsuranceNow or similar insurance platforms
• Coordinating multiple Agile teams; Scrum of Scrums; SAFe
• Experience with mixed onshore/offshore teams and systems integrators
• Experience with enhancements and configuration changes in enterprise applications
