Job summary

Halo Group in Illinois seeks an IT project support professional to assist the Product Managers and Technical Delivery Leads in managing expectations for project deliverables, communications, and governance processes to ensure on-time, on-budget outcomes.

You will promote teamwork, identify and escalate issues, mitigate risks, manage scope and budgets, and provide upward communication on project scope, schedule, and costs.

Job description

• Support the Product Managers and Technical Delivery Leads in managing business expectations for project deliverables, managing communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance.
• Promote teamwork at all times and set a good personal example of attitude and performance.
• Identify, track, communicate, manage and resolve project issues.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risk and roadblocks.
• Manage project budget and financials.
• Provide upward communication on project scope, schedule, budgets.
• Proactively manage scope to ensure what was agreed upon in the Project Initiation document is delivered, unless changes are approved through scope management.
• Manage the overall project plan to ensure work is assigned and completed on time and within budget.
• Perform other job-related duties as necessary.
• This position reports to the designated IT Project Manager.
