Job summary

Accenture Flex invites you to join as a Scrum Master in a local fixed-duration project, working onsite in the New Jersey metro area. You will enable Agile delivery and coach teams across multiple squads.

We seek an experienced Scrum Master with 5+ IT years, Agile and Jira expertise, and a proven delivery track record. The role requires onsite client work four days per week in Jersey City or Pennington, NJ, with competitive hourly compensation.

Responsibilities

• Enable the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies.
• Coach and mentor the Scrum Team, remove obstacles and facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
• Identify and report progress through metrics.
• Collaborate across teams, manage decisions, and provide solutions within and across teams.
• Drive continuous improvement by implementing Agile best practices to enhance productivity and delivery quality.
• Support development and growth of team members and foster collaboration.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align goals and resolve dependencies or risks.
• Analyze team performance metrics to provide actionable insights and promote transparency.

Key Responsibilities

• As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for enabling the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies.
• Your day to day activities will include coaching and mentoring the Scrum Team or Teams, removing obstacles that hinder progress, and facilitating Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• You will also identify and report progress through appropriate metrics.
• You are expected to be a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively, take responsibility for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems within your immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices within the Agile framework to enhance team productivity and delivery quality.
• Support the development and growth of team members by sharing knowledge and fostering a collaborative environment.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and timely resolution of dependencies or risks.
• Analyze team performance metrics to provide actionable insights and promote transparency across projects.
• Champion Agile principles and values across the organization to encourage a culture of adaptability and innovation.
• We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery teams and drive successful outcomes.

Note: role requires onsite client work 4 days per week in Jersey City, NJ or Pennington, NJ

Basic Qualifications
