Soft Tech Consulting, Inc. seeks a Scrum Master to join a client delivery team in Washington, DC. The role requires US citizenship, Top Secret clearance, and 100% onsite presence in the DC area.

The ideal candidate will lead Lean-Agile practices, coordinate sprint ceremonies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver project milestones and value. This position is full-time with benefits and requires working in a demanding government-adjacent environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or 9 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years of work experience
• Clear written communication and documentation skills
• Experience with Agile framework and Kanban or Scrum
• Experience with Agile Project Management (Intermediate)
• Experience with Business requirement Analysis (Intermediate)
• Experience with Jira (Intermediate)
• Independent work with minimal oversight
• Ability to develop strong client relationships

Responsibilities

• Exhibit Lean-Agile leadership, adopt and apply Agile Principles, and implement Agile practices
• Promote Agile quality practices so the team can meet its goals; identify and mitigate impediments
• Facilitate all team meetings, including Daily Stand-Up, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Retrospective
• Guide the team in estimating the team’s work

• Identify functional requirements and create user stories
• Test developed stories and ensure application quality
• Solve problems and provide technical support to end users
• Develop and maintain documentation and training materials
• Assist with data mapping

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Scrum Master for one of our clients. The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing support and expertise necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables, and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting status/progress.

• Experience with Agile Project Management (Intermediate)
• Experience with Business requirement Analysis (Intermediate)
• Experience with Jira (Intermediate)
• Must be able to work independently, with minimal oversight.
• Able to develop strong client relationships.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with creating and monitoring tasks in JIRA
• Application/software requirements gathering experience
