Soft Tech Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Scrum Master for a 100% onsite role in Washington, DC. The candidate must be a US citizen and hold a Top Secret clearance. Salary ranges from 85K to 125K per year, with competitive benefits.

The ideal candidate will provide Agile leadership, facilitate ceremonies, and support delivery to ensure on-time project success while maintaining communication with all staff levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 9 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years of work experience (including internships)
• Clear written communication and documentation skills
• Experience with Agile framework and Kanban or Scrum team
• Experience with Agile Project Management (Intermediate)
• Experience with Business requirements Analysis (Intermediate)
• Experience with Jira (Intermediate)
• Must be able to work independently, with minimal oversight
• Able to develop strong client relationships

Responsibilities

• Exhibit Lean-Agile leadership and apply Agile principles
• Promote Agile quality practices and mitigate impediments
• Facilitate all team meetings (Daily Stand-Up, Planning, Retrospective)
• Guide the team in estimating the team’s work
• Keep the team focused on daily and sprint goals
• Identify functional requirements and create user stories
• Test developed stories and ensure quality
• Develop and maintain documentation and training materials
• Assist with data mapping

Soft Tech Consulting is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed individual to fill the role of a Scrum Masterfor one of our clients. The designated candidate for this position will join a collaborative team environment, providing support and expertise necessary toward the successful delivery of the project deliverables, and provide effective communication to all levels of staff for reporting status/progress.

Responsibilities

• ExhibitLean-Agile leadership, adopt and apply Agile Principles, and implement Agile practices

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with creating and monitoring tasks in JIRA
