AP Professionals in the United States seeks a Digital Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery for customer-facing digital products, mobile apps, and telehealth initiatives. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Digital teams, UX/UI, Analytics, and enterprise stakeholders to remove impediments and drive predictable delivery.

The role requires strong facilitation, SAFe/ Agile expertise, and certification. You will guide PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and cross-team coordination to improve team

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, business, healthcare, engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or Agile Delivery Lead experience.
  • 3+ years supporting Digital, Web, Mobile, Patient Experience, Consumer Engagement, or Healthcare Technology initiatives.
  • Experience facilitating Agile teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, Agile principles, and SDLC practices.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Coach teams on Agile values, Scrum principles, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Ensure Agile processes are consistently followed and continuously optimized.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, collaboration, and ownership.
  • Support planning and execution of digital product roadmaps and strategic initiatives.
  • Track sprint commitments, delivery progress, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Partner with Product Managers and Product Owners to maintain healthy product backlogs.
  • Ensure user stories are properly defined, estimated, prioritized, and ready for development.
  • Facilitate release planning and roadmap execution.
  • Support PI Planning preparation and execution.
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies and identify risks impacting delivery.
  • Participate in Scrum of Scrums, ART-level planning, and enterprise Agile events.
  • Assist teams in defining objectives, commitments, and measurable outcomes.
  • Coach Product Owners, team members, and stakeholders on Agile best practices.
  • Promote self-organization and high-performing team behaviors.
  • Help teams improve predictability, velocity, quality, and flow metrics.
  • Drive retrospectives and improvement initiatives to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Communicate delivery progress, risks, and key decisions to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate collaboration across Digital, IT, Operations, Clinical, Revenue Cycle, Analytics, Cybersecurity, and Infrastructure teams.
  • Support executive reporting and operational governance activities.
  • Utilize Jira dashboards and Agile metrics to monitor team performance.
  • Analyze sprint metrics, throughput, burn-downs, flow efficiency, and delivery trends.
  • Develop improvement plans to enhance team maturity and delivery predictability.

  • Must have working knowledge and experience with patient/consumer facing digital experience projects

Position Summary

The Digital Scrum Master is responsible for leading Agile delivery practices across Digital teams supporting customer-facing digital products, mobile applications, patient engagement platforms, scheduling solutions, digital forms, telehealth capabilities, and related digital initiatives. Strong and very assertive person

The Scrum Master partners closely with Product Managers, Product Owners, Digital Business leaders, Engineering teams, UX/UI designers, Analytics teams, and enterprise stakeholders to remove impediments, improve team performance, manage dependencies, and drive predictable delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Agile Delivery Leadership

  • Knowledge of UX/UI, digital product development, analytics, and customer experience design.
  • Experience leading multiple Agile teams simultaneously.
