Job summary

Apt is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery across cross-functional teams within a Cybersecurity, Systems, and Resilience organization. The role requires a strong facilitator who can coach teams, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement while partnering with engineering, analytics, product, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Product Owner, or similar role in software development.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
• Strong Excel analytical skills with data and metrics to support decision-making.
• Practical experience using AI tools across platforms to improve productivity, workflows, and analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard creation, reporting, and data visualization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships, foster teamwork, and influence without authority.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and other project management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Coach teams on Scrum practices, Agile principles, self-organization, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product Owners on backlog refinement, prioritization, and delivery planning.
• Identify, track, and help remove impediments affecting team performance or delivery.
• Promote transparency, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support Agile transformation efforts through training, coaching, and practical guidance.
• Use Excel to analyze delivery data, metrics, trends, and operational performance.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and delivery metrics.
• Leverage AI tools and platforms to improve team efficiency, automate routine tasks, and enhance analysis and communication.
• Apply coding or scripting skills where useful to support automation, analysis, visualization, or technical understanding.
• Collaborate with technical teams on implementation considerations, dependencies, and delivery risks.
• Provide regular status reporting, delivery metrics, and actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Help bridge communication between business, product, engineering, and technical teams.
• Build strong relationships across teams and influence outcomes without direct authority.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Team Coaching
