Job summary

Ektello is partnering with an entertainment leader in Orlando, FL to find a Scrum Master to join their growing engineering team. This long-term, hybrid, W2 contract includes PTO and medical/401k options. Onsite is required Monday-Thursday.

The ideal candidate will facilitate agile ceremonies, coordinate with the Release Train Engineer and Product Owner, and guide the team toward increased productivity and sustainable velocity.

Qualifications

• Experience facilitating agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.
• Strong ability to guide teams and remove impediments.
• Experience coordinating with Product Owners and Release Train Engineers.

ektello is partnering with an entertainment leader in Orlando, FL to find a Scrum Master to join their growing engineering team. This is a long-term, hybrid, W2 contract that includes PTO, and we offer medical and 401k benefit options. Must be willing to be onsite Monday-Thursday. We are looking for someone who has experience as a Scrum Master and Project Manager and someone who can bring enthusiasm to the role. Details:

• Facilitate agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives and sprint demos. Work with the Release Train Engineer to integrate efforts, other teams. Consult with the Product Owner to validate and communicate team priorities. Guide, coach and motivate the team with the goal of increasing productivity
• Guiding the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to drive end value
• Serve as the teams Scrum expert. Guide the team toward improving the way they work. Remove impediments to help the team reach an optimum, sustainable velocity.
• Leads the team on self-organizing to fill in the intentional gaps left in the Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Communicate and ensure alignment of priorities with Program stakeholders and within the team.
• Build and support a trusting and safe environment where challenges are address proactively with an emphasis on healing and problem-solving.
