Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton seeks a seasoned Scrum Master to coach development teams delivering critical IT modernization projects. You will champion Agile best practices, drive sprint ceremonies, and align work with OKRs while engaging stakeholders with JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, and Excel to foster continuous improvement.

You will guide teams through complex challenges, mentor colleagues, and support enterprise-scale SOF IT solutions, contributing to national security.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Agile, Lean, and Scrum experience with OKR mapping and sprint ceremonies.
  • Experience teaching agile concepts and deconflicting sprint goals.
  • Ability to coordinate tasks across multiple teams and workstreams.
  • Proficient with Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence) and cloud deployment processes.
  • Top Secret clearance and HS diploma or GED are required.

Responsibilities

  • Coach development teams to reach peak performance and progress Scrum projects.

We need a seasoned Scrum master like you to create solutions that'll enhance mission requirements.

On our team, you'll coach a development team to achieve its highest performance level, while ensuring the Scrum project is successfully progressed. You'll work on unusually complex problems, introduce leading-edge concepts, and provide highly innovative solutions to your team and key stakeholders. Using tools like Gitlab, JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, and Excel you'll strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish effective OKR planning, closeouts, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

In this role, you'll guide and mentor your colleagues to directly impact the SOF community by delivering highly complex IT solutions at enterprise scale.

You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with Agile, Lean, and Scrum practices, including OKR mapping, planning, execution, sprint planning, retrospectives, and requirements gathering
  • Experience teaching teams agile framework concepts
  • Experience de-conflicting sprint goals and requirements as necessary
  • Experience prioritizing, leading, and coordinating tasks across multiple teams and distinct workstreams to accelerate delivery of milestones and feature releases
  • Experience with Atlassian suite, including JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience with IaaS and PaaS solution development and deployment process
  • Experience with cloud product design and feature release planning
  • HS diploma or GED

  • Experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced, or rapidly scaling environment
  • Experience with containerized technology deployment, policy as code, and Infrastructure as Code best practices
  • Experience with large scale program delivery
  • Knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow, Kanban, Scaled Agile, and Scrum frameworks
  • Ability to infer and correlate delivery tasks to larger OKR objectives
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to shifting priorities
  • Possession of strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
  • Agile Certifications, such as ICAgile Certified Professional, Certified Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or SAFe Program Consultant Certification
