Job summary

VDart Inc in Atlanta, GA seeks a Scrum Master to facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure clear communication among development teams, product owners, and stakeholders.

You will lead sprint events, coach on Agile practices, maintain Jira dashboards, and track metrics while coordinating releases with cross-functional partners including AWS environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Scrum Master on software development teams.
• CSM, PSM I/II, or SAFe Scrum Master certification.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams.
• Strong Jira experience with reporting & dashboards; GitHub familiarity.
• Excellent facilitation and stakeholder communication.
• Experience managing dependencies and risks on multi-module projects.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Coach the team and stakeholders on Scrum and Agile principles; foster ownership and continuous improvement.
• Partner with the Product Owner to keep a healthy, prioritized backlog with clear acceptance criteria.
• Identify, track, and remove impediments; manage dependencies, risks, and issues across teams.
• Track and report sprint metrics (velocity, burndown, release progress) to project leadership.
• Coordinate release planning, AWS environment promotions, UAT scheduling, and stakeholder communication.
• Maintain Jira boards, workflows, and dashboards, with visibility into GitHub development activity.

Job Description:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Government or public-sector IT modernization experience.
• Background in court, justice, or case management domains.
• Experience with teams delivering on AWS and with AI-enabled products.
• Exposure to SAFe or scaled Agile environments.
