Job summary

ES Foundry Corp, based in Greenwood, SC, operates a plant dedicated to emission control and ultra-pure water systems. The role focuses on operating, monitoring, and maintaining Scrubbers and RO/DI equipment, while supporting new installations and startup activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Maintenance or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in breaking down machines and replacing worn components.
• Hands-on skill set in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience in working with and around chemicals.
• Experience in calibrations such as pH and ORP probes.
• Material handling and forklift/pallet jack operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain plant emission control and RO/DI equipment, ensure permits and operational compliance.
• Assist with early-stage equipment installation, qualifications, walk-downs and startup.
• Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for preventive maintenance and continuous improvement projects.
• Report equipment status and functions to supervisor and work as a team.
• Maintain inventory of chemicals for RO/DI and air emission equipment.
• Fill chemical dosing tanks and assist with bulk chemical deliveries as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operating, monitoring and maintaining (corrective, preventive & predictive) plant emission control and ultra-pure water equipment like Scrubbers and RO/DI, while maintaining compliance with permits and operational requirements.
• Responsible for supporting new equipment installation such as qualifications, walk down, punch list commissioning and startup.
• Helps coordinate vendors, OEM and others to perform routine PM's and take part in continuous improvement efforts/projects.
• Ability to work with a team and report all functions andjobstatuses of equipment to supervisor.
• Maintains inventory of chemicals associated with the operation of RO/DI and Air Emission Equipment.
• Fill chemical dosing tanks for equipment as needed.
• Assists with the delivery of bulk chemicals for equipment as needed.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Diploma/Certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, Maintenance or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience (Wastewater, Scrubber, RO/DI Systems)
• Must have 1+ years of experience in breaking down machines, replacing all worn components to include testing all electrical components.
• Hands-on skill set in mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience in working with and around chemicals.
• Experience in calibrations such as pH and ORP probes.
• Material handling and forklift and pallet jack operation experience.
• A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Possess the ability to handle difficult situations and work well in a fast-paced environment.
