HCA Healthcare, Inc. in Brigham City, Utah is seeking a Surgical Technologist PRN to join our operating room team. You will prepare the sterile field, assist during surgeries, and collaborate with a highly skilled team to ensure safe, efficient procedures.

Qualifications

• BLS or BCLS certification required.
• Surgical Technologist CST certification required.
• Minimum 6 months OR scrub experience required.
• Must live within thirty minutes of Brigham City Community Hospital.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain the surgical suite with instruments and advanced equipment.
• Assist with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping.
• Scrub in and provide instruments, handle specimens, and support the surgical team.
• Monitor patients and equipment during procedures and respond to concerns.
• Maintain sterile technique and support efficient room turnover.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and maintaining the surgical suite with instruments, supplies, and advanced equipment to ensure safe, seamless procedures
• Assisting with patient transport, positioning, prepping, and draping while prioritizing comfort, privacy, and safety
• Scrubbing in and partnering with the surgical team by providing instruments, handling specimens, and anticipating the team’s needs
• Monitoring patients and surgical equipment throughout procedures, responding promptly and effectively to any concerns
• Upholding sterile technique, completing room turnover efficiently, and supporting a high-performing, collaborative team environment

What qualifications you will need:

• American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification
• Surgical Technologist Certificate (CST)
• 6 months OR Scrub Experience required
• Must live within thirty minutes of Brigham City Community Hospital
