Job summary

Brigham City Community Hospital, part of the HCA Healthcare network, seeks a Special Procedures Technologist (PRN) to join our Radiology team. You will perform X-Ray, CT, OR, Fluoroscopy and Dexa procedures and provide patient-centered care across ages.

You should have ARRT-R Radiography certification, RT Radiologic Technologist, an Associate Degree, CT tech experience, and be able to work under pressure with independent judgment.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• ARRT-R Radiography
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and compassionate care in our Radiology department.
• Perform professional duties involved in all special radiographic procedures with latitude for independent judgment.
• Work with X-Ray, CT, OR, Fluor and Dexa capabilities.
• Assess, treat or care for patients across ages: Child, Adolescent, Adult, Geriatric.
• Demonstrate the ability to obtain and interpret information for patient needs and development.
• Maintain readiness to deliver life-saving techniques under pressure.

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Special Procedure Technologist, you will help to provide professional and compassionate care to our patients in our Radiology department. We are looking for someone to join our team that works hard to support each other where the patients are the center of all we do. In this role:

• You must have a working knowledge of life-saving techniques and be capable of performing well under pressure.

• You will use your advanced knowledge of the complexities of the angiographic equipment.

• You will be responsible for the assessment, treatment or care appropriate to the ages of the patients served: i.e. Child, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric.

• You will demonstrate the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.

• You will perform professional duties involved in all special radiographic procedures with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
