Assignment Length: 26 weeks/day - per diem

Responsibilities

Under direct supervision of the OR Patient Care Manager, the Sr. Surgical Tech maintains responsibility for the care of the patient in the OR. Duties include assisting with direct patient care activities, preparing and stocking the OR before and after surgery, gathering clean and sterile supplies, setting sterile instrument fields, maintaining and monitoring aseptic techniques, assisting with the orientation of new staff, and participating on departmental committees.
