Job summary

Primary Vascular Care is seeking a Scrub Technician to support vascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases, with emphasis on sterile technique and quick situational awareness.

You will assist in angiograms, angioplasty, stent placement, and other endovascular procedures, ensuring instrument readiness and smooth teamwork with the RN and physicians in a fast-paced vascular lab.

Qualifications

• CST preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in Cath Lab, IR, Vascular, or OR settings.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique.
• Familiarity with vascular instruments and procedural workflow.
• Proactive: Anticipates needs without being told.
• Highly Organized: Detail-oriented under pressure.
• Team Player: Works seamlessly with the RN and Physician.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a sterile field for all procedures.
• Prepare instruments, supplies, and equipment for vascular cases.
• Assist physicians during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining flow.
• Handle vascular equipment including wires, catheters, balloons, and stents.
• Ensure proper setup, function, and breakdown of procedural equipment.
• Assist with room turnover and preparation between cases.
• Monitor and restock inventory of procedural supplies.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
• Support patient positioning and procedural setup.
