Job summary

Baptist Health Arkansas is seeking a Scrub Tech I in Arkadelphia. This role requires knowledge of sterile technique and the ability to perform duties before, during, and after surgery under the supervision of the RN Circulating Nurse.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and be a new graduate of an accredited Scrub Technician program. The position entails working 40 hours bi-weekly with on-call responsibilities.

Job description

Working Hours

630-1500. Days of the week will be determined by workload. Call is required with varying days and weekends. Required to live within 30 minutes of hospital for call.

Summary

The Scrub Tech I must know and be able to apply the principles of sterile technique. They must also be able to perform the duties of the Scrub Tech I before, during, and after surgery and work under the direction of the RN Circulating Nurse.
