We specialize in the multi-spindle screw machine sector and are currently seeking Experienced Acme, New Britain, Euroturn, and Davenport Machine Technicians in Rochester Hills, MI, US who are dedicated to upholding Quality standards. Join our team as a Screw Machine Operator and take on a vital role in our production operations, ensuring the seamless and efficient running of our machines. Your precision, attention to detail, and technical proficiency are essential in upholding our exceptional standards of excellence.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate Minimum of two multi-spindle screw machines, with the possibility of operating a third machine for extra pay.
2. Demonstrate expertise in changing cams, grinding form tools, drills, cutoffs, and performing maintenance tasks.
3. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues promptly.
4. Conduct preventative maintenance and adjust machine tooling to ensure part conformance.
5. Utilize various tools such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators to verify part specifications.
6. Maintain tool sharpness and make necessary adjustments for part conformity.
7. Secure tools in holders according to the tooling layout.
8. Interpret safety rules, machine instructions, and procedure manuals accurately.
9. Implement Statistical Process Control techniques for quality assurance.
10. Uphold quality control standards to ensure machine performance.
11. Keep the work environment clean and safe.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of 3-10 years of experience in manufacturing is preferred for this role.
2. Proficiency in interpreting blueprints is required.
3. Experience in setting up machines is necessary.
4. Mechanical and electrical knowledge are advantageous skills.
5. Ability to inspect parts is essential for this position.

Compensation: $19 - $30 hourly
