Base pay range

$17.00/hr - $28.00/hr

About the Role

National Technologies, Inc. (NTI) is seeking an experienced Screw Machine Set-Up Operator. Preferred experience includes Acme, New Britain, and/or Brown & Sharpe Machines. Benefits include:

Shift Details

• Full-time positions available for 1st and 2nd shifts.
• 1st shift: 6 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Thursday, with optional overtime on Fridays.
• 2nd shift: 4:30 PM to 3:30 AM, Monday-Thursday, with 3-day weekends, no mandatory OT.

Equipment Operated

• Acme 6 Spindle Screw Machines (9/16" - 1-¼")
• New Britain 6 & 8 Spindle Screw Machines (1-? - 2-¼")
• Brown & Sharpe Single Spindle Screw Machines (½ - 2")

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate screw machines to produce parts to specifications.
• Make adjustments to speeds, feeds, and tooling with supervisor approval.
• Use precision measuring instruments to ensure quality.
• Assist with troubleshooting and operate multiple machines if needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Acme, New Britain, or Brown & Sharpe machines, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of setup experience or a strong relevant resume.
• Ability to read blueprints and work from drawings.
• Proficiency with measuring tools.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and handle lubricants and coolants.
