Qualifications

• Must meet licensing requirements for security officers as per local, county and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and eliminate potential safety issues within the facility.
• Identify security shortfalls and propose improvements to the security program.
• Read and apply Screening Standard Operating Procedures.
• Monitor traffic flow through screening checkpoint(s).
• Perform metal detection and wand searches for entry/exit from secure areas.
• Follow safe work practices and company policies; notify supervisor of unsafe conditions.
