Job summary

Allied Universal in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Screening Compliance to protect our clients at a logistics and distribution site. The role involves using screening equipment to identify prohibited items, maintaining a visible security presence, and supporting access control.

You will provide courteous service in a fast-paced environment and follow site procedures, escalation protocols, and emergency response plans. A background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required; licensing may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide security-based customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees.
• Screen individuals, deliveries, and access points; verify credentials.
• Monitor entry/exit activity and maintain visitor/incident records.
• Respond calmly to incidents following escalation and emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of loading, parking, and perimeter areas.
