Lakeshirts in Minnesota seeks a SVS team member to support the screenprint process from stretch to wash. You’ll handle screen preparation, coating, burning images, and sprayout tasks as part of a collaborative production team.

The role emphasizes safety per OSHA, reliability, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality. Experience with basic computer tools is helpful; physical stamina to stand 8–10 hours is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Stretch, coat, burn, sprayout, wash screens as part of SVS.
• Cut and assemble mesh for screens; manage mesh tension.
• Operate Direct to Screen machine to burn images.
• Perform spray and wash operations; fix defects.
• Maintain quality control and safety per OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with team to complete tasks.
• Handle repetitive tasks and stand for long periods.
• Rotate duties as needed.

PREPARE SCREENS TO BE DECORATED WITH THE BEST ARTWORK IN THE BIZ.

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor and Lead, this position is responsible for floating positions, as part of the Screen Value Steam process. These include: Screen Stretching, Coating, Burnroom Operator, Sprayout, Washroom. SVS team members provide the first crucial steps in the screenprint process.

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 4pm-2am

Pay: $21.00

A Typical Day (job functions) | Stretch + Coat + Wash | Repeat

• Cutting & assembling mesh to be stretched on screens; understanding of mesh tension
• Running a pneumatic impact gun over a long period of time
• Verifying quality of screens and framing- find & fix flaws as needed
• Coating of screens
• Operate Direct to Screen Machine to 'burn' image into screen
• Sprayout screens to get ready for sending to screenprint
• Washout screens, including pulling tape and fixing screens, if broken
• Rotate and work in areas as needed.
• Follows safety practices. Identifies problems and works to resolve safety issues as they occur in accordance to OSHA standards.
• Works actively with others to get the job done.
• Other duties as assigned
