Job summary

McLoone Metal Graphics, Inc. is seeking a diligent Screen Printing Operator for the 1st shift in La Crosse, WI. This hands-on role focuses on setting up jobs, maintaining quality, and processing production tasks to meet customer specifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of screen printing, be comfortable reading blueprints, and work well in a team. You will operate, adjust, and maintain printing equipment, ensure safety, and record job data accurately.

Qualifications

• A strong technical understanding of screen-printing and related functions.
• Knowledge of equipment, materials and processes used in production.
• Strong blueprint reading and math skills with calculator/ measuring tools.
• Ability to prioritize and respond to urgent projects.
• Willingness to perform tasks listed in other pay grade job descriptions as required.

Responsibilities

• Understand, use, and comply with work orders and work schedules.
• Prepare tools, equipment, and materials for production.
• Make adjustments to processes to achieve high output and quality printing.
• Understand what causes printing variables and how to control them.
• Understand inks and substrates relationships and curing/drying processes.
• Record required job documentation and test bulb strength as needed.
• Operate and maintain printing equipment and ensure a safe, clean work area.
• Cross-train in other plant positions as needed.
