Job summary

Uticom Systems Inc, a rapidly growing graphics manufacturing company west of Coatesville, PA, is hiring a Printing Assistant to help meet the demands and volume of our screen printing department.

You will assist in press operation, loading materials, ink handling, and setup of screen equipment. Cross-training on other presses and maintaining equipment knowledge are included, with overtime and weekend work possible.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
• Strong ability to work with the team as well as independently.
• Strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to work weekends as needed.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist in operation of press including loading & unloading of material, and ink handling.
• Setup and operation of screen equipment, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Gathering correct materials and inks needed to run job.
• Cross-train to work on other presses and learn operator skills for possible advancement.
• Maintain a working knowledge of all departmental equipment, and work techniques.
• Follow all company and department policies and procedures for conduct, safety, quality and housekeeping.
• Other duties as assigned.
