Job summary

Grimco, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing team member to support our flatbed press operations. You will perform pre-print set-up, monitor ink viscosity, color, and registration to ensure production standards are met.

You will troubleshoot equipment, read production paperwork, and collaborate with teammates to maintain safety and quality while handling typical warehouse tasks, including lifting up to 65 pounds. Immediate full-time position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow production paperwork and instructions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 65 pounds.
• Able to adapt to different jobs quickly and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-print set-up and check on machines.
• Ensure registration, ink viscosity, color, and print quality on flatbed presses.
• Catch signs of the conveyor belt and prepare for next stage.
• Maintain production rate and quality within guidelines.
• Make press adjustments as needed.
• Run and troubleshoot production equipment and machinery.
• Re-clean screens for screen printing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform machines pre-print set-up and check.
• Ensure registration, ink viscosity, color, and print quality on Flatbed presses are working properly.
• Catching signs of the conveyor belt and preparing them for the next stage.
• Maintain optimum production rate, registration, and quality standards are within company and customer guidelines.
• Make press adjustments when necessary.
• Comprehend production paperwork to reassure the right image, ink and material is being used for jobs.
• Run, adjust, and troubleshoot production equipment and machinery.
• Reclean screens for screen printing.
• Other duties as assigned
• Motivate by example - partner with employees to perform daily activities, and continuously improve performance. Teamwork is key!

Physical Demands

• Requires the ability to lift, push, pull and carry tools and warehouse materials weighing up to 65 pounds on a frequent basis.
• Requires prolonged standing or walking and frequent bending, stooping, and reaching daily.
• Requires the ability to climb ladders to pick or put away products.
• Requires a full range of physical motion to operate manual and electrically powered tools and machines (i.e., forklift).
