Job summary

Spherion Staffing, LLC is seeking a production/quality control associate to monitor garment quality and assist printing operations. You will prep blank garments, complete job paperwork, and communicate any issues to the team.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma, 0–1 years of experience, and the ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for long periods. This on-site role offers standard production hours and benefits through Spherion.

Responsibilities

• Counts and prep garments for printing.
• Completes paperwork with printer prior to running job.
• Communicates garment quality issues to supervisor and reworks as needed.
• Sorts, bags, and prepares garments for shipping.
• Reads work orders and profiles to ensure correct processing.
• Maintains clean, organized work area and follows SOPs.

Job description

Under the direction of the Production Manager and Print Supervisor, this position is accountable for monitoring and ensuring quality control for all garments produced.

Responsibilities:

• Counts and unboxes blank garments, places them on tables to prep for printing
• Completes paperwork with printer prior to running job
• Communicates with team members when garments are imperfect and need to be redone
• Sort, count and fold garments by size/color/garment style and prepare them for shipping
• Read and understand work orders and profiles to ensure each order is processed correctly
• Complete all paperwork as assigned, including misprint logs
• Follows all SOPs
• Attends trainings as necessary
• Keeps work area clean and orderly
• Organizes work flow
• Follows safety practices
• Identifies problems and notifies supervisor as they occur
• Works actively with others to get the job done
• Other duties as assigned

Working hours:

8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Skills:

• High school education desirable, but not required
• Previous production experience preferred, but not required
