Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring for a Screen Press Machine Operator in Jonesboro, AR. Day shift with pay rate $17.00–$18.00 per hour. You will operate press equipment, review orders, set up machines, monitor performance, and ensure product quality while meeting deadlines.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and some manufacturing experience. Weekly pay, health/dental/vision benefits, and a safety-first environment are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience as a machine operator or in manufacturing/warehouse is a plus.
• Ability to read basic work instructions and safety signs.
• Physically able to stand and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Operate fully automatic and semi-automatic press equipment.
• Review work orders and job specifications before production.
• Gather and prepare materials for each production job.
• Set up press equipment according to job specifications.
• Monitor machine performance during production runs.
• Make adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve minor equipment issues.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Inspect finished products to meet quality standards.
• Work efficiently to meet production deadlines with accuracy.
• Communicate issues to supervisors.
