Hunter Douglas is seeking a Sewing Technician to join SunPro in Bradenton, FL. You will prepare screen mesh materials for motorized screen units, sewing and assembling components according to specifications.

Follow SunPro tablet instructions, meet daily production goals, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Requires 1–2 years in manufacturing and ability to lift 55+ lbs; tools experience is a plus.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years in manufacturing or related field.
• Experience with power and/or manual tools.
• Comfortable in a plant environment without A/C.
• Able to lift heavy items as needed.

• Follow digital instructions and production targets using SunPro tablets.
• Inspect finished materials for quality and consistency.

Position Overview

Responsible for the sole preparation of screen mesh materials for motorized screen complete units by utilizing industrial sewing machines to sew fabric, in alignment with SunPro tablets and set daily production goals.

• Operate industrial sewing machines to cut, stitch, and assemble screen mesh materials.
• Prepare screen mesh components for motorized screen units according to specifications.
• Follow digital instructions and production targets using SunPro tablets.
• Inspect finished materials for quality and consistency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Meet daily production goals and report progress to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.

Who you are

• 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, and/or industrial sewing.
• 1-2 years of experience using power and/or manual tools.
• Able to lift 55+ lbs. independently and 80+ lbs. with a team.
• Comfortable working in a plant/manufacturing environment.
• Able to work in a non-A/C regulated setting.
