Hunter Douglas SunPro in Bradenton, FL is seeking a production assembler to manufacture motorized awning complete units, using power and manual tools, and to contribute to daily production targets.

You will work in a manufacturing environment, collaborate with team members, and maintain quality while meeting deadlines. The role requires physical effort and comfort in a non‑air‑conditioned plant.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial sewing.
• 1–2 years of experience with power and manual tools.
• Capable of multitasking and have strong organizational skills.

• Proficient in using computers.
• Physically capable of lifting heavy objects as required.

Position Overview

Responsible for the sole production of Motorized Awning complete units by assembling various Awning parts with the inclusion of Power and or Manual Tools, in correlation with SunPro Tablets and set daily production goals.

What you’ll do

• Working in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial sewing environment.
• Utilizing power and manual tools effectively.
• Multitasking and managing various tasks simultaneously.
• Organizing tasks and maintaining strong organizational skills.
• Collaborating with team members in a team-oriented environment.
• Using computers proficiently for various tasks.
• Lifting heavy objects independently (up to 55 lbs) and within teams (up to 80 lbs).
• Working in a non-A/C regulated plant manufacturing setting.
• All other duties as assigned

Who you are

• You have 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial sewing.
• You have 1-2 years of experience with power and manual tools.
• You are capable of multitasking and have strong organizational skills.
• You are team-oriented and work well with others.
• You are proficient in using computers.
