Market of Choice in Oregon is hiring a Scratch Baker to craft croissant-like pastries and other baked goods, starting at $16.10/hour with room to grow to $19.60 and up to $22.50 based on experience.

You’ll read recipes, bake from scratch, maintain clear store records, and provide friendly service to customers while working in a team-focused environment. Applicants must be at least 18 and have at least 1 year of scratch baking experience.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year professional scratch baking experience and open availability.
• You must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Reading recipes, utilizing math skills to assemble ingredients for scratch preparations
• Baking all of our baked products and making frostings & custards
• Professional and courteous communications to maintain positive relations with customers, employees, and vendors
• Creating and maintaining store records
• General cleaning
