F. C. Plecker & Sons, Inc. is seeking a Scraper Operator to set grade stakes, verify elevations, and help finish grading on our heavy highway projects. This role emphasizes precision, safety, and the potential to grow into survey work.

You will operate heavy equipment, perform inspections, read grade stakes, and coordinate with foremen and drivers on site, all while following OSHA practices and company safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years operating heavy equipment (grading experience preferred).
• Valid driver's license; CDL a plus.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Reliable, safety-minded, and willing to work outdoors year-round.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to finish grade.
• Perform daily walk-around inspections and basic maintenance.
• Read grade stakes and work with GPS machine-control systems.
• Coordinate with foremen, grade checkers, and truck drivers on site.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety practices.
