Job summary

OmniSource is seeking a General Laborer for its Millard Avenue location to support scrap sorting, cleaning, and basic equipment maintenance. You will work in a safety-focused environment and contribute to efficient operations as part of a dedicated team.

The role emphasizes physical effort, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Monday–Friday schedule with overtime as needed, with competitive pay and benefits available.

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more repetitively.

Responsibilities

• Sort scrap materials on the picking line to upgrade quality and remove nonconforming items.
• Clean conveyors and work area to maintain a safe environment.
• Perform regular maintenance on mobile and fixed equipment.
• Follow safety standards to ensure personal and team safety.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
