Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma/GED; 1+ year heavy equipment operator experience considered.
• Must read, write and perform basic math.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and endure outdoor conditions.
• Pre-Employment background, physical, and hair drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment including crawlers from brands like Caterpillar, Sennebogen and Liebherr.
• Load/unload materials using magnets or grapples.
• Sort metals to separate high-grade material and remove non-conforming metals.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic housekeeping.
• Interact with customers/drivers to direct or assist them.
• Assist mechanics with equipment maintenance and yard organization.
