Job summary

Douglas seeks energetic game staff to keep scorebooks and operate scoreboards and PA systems. The role requires detail-oriented individuals who can communicate clearly and work evenings and weekends at local venues.

Applicants should be at least 16, hold a Georgia driver’s license, and be able to read and write well. Training will cover scoring, pitching charts, substitutions, and game-day duties across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Must have previous training in keeping scorebooks, scoreboards, etc.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Must be at least 16 years of age and possess a valid Georgia driver’s license.
• Must be able to work some nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Keep scorebooks at games.
• Operate scoreboard and/or clock for games.
• Maintain pitching charts of pitchers at games.
• Maintain substitution records in scorebooks.
• Operate a public address system at some locations or games.
• Perform other related duties as required.
