Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a Scope Processing Technician to support decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, scanning, disinfection, drying, storage and distribution of reusable flexible endoscopes and related equipment to ensure a sterile supply chain. Under supervision, you will follow established standards to maintain safety and quality in patient care.

Minimum qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and a certification within two years of hire (CFER from CBSPD

Qualifications

• A minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
• Must acquire CFER (Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor) from CBSPD or CER (Certified Endoscope Reprocessor) within two years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, scanning, disinfection, drying, storage and distribution of reusable flexible endoscopes and other equipment according to established standards and procedures.
• Ensure sterile and functioning supply of materials and equipment.
