Job summary

Scooter's Coffee in Oklahoma is seeking a friendly Barista to provide fast, accurate service and craft quality beverages. You’ll follow recipes, maintain cleanliness, and help guests have a memorable experience.

Responsibilities include taking orders, processing payments, restocking supplies, and upholding food safety standards while delivering great tips and building customer relationships.

Description

The Barista creates a memorable customer experience by providing fast, friendly service and consistent, quality products. This role is responsible for performing all job duties in a manner consistent with current company processes and procedures and maintaining all food safety and sanitation standards.

Essential duties & responsibilities

• Connect with each customer and promote sales


• Welcome questions and seek opportunities to educate customers about Scooter's products


• Take orders and process payment in a timely and friendly fashion


• Manage cash drawer, following established cash handling procedures


• Serve all customer orders according to recipe and aesthetic guidelines


• Deliver products within established speed of service guidelines and identify drink upon delivery


• Operate and maintain cleanliness of all store equipment


• Optimize workflow efficiency by restocking workstations, food, supplies, and merchandise


• Make and follow daily checklists

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn all about the coffee business


• Have a positive uplifting inclusive demeanor


• Ability to work 8+ hours a week.


• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment


• Dependability

• Customer Service skills preferred
