Job summary

Bridger Aerospace is seeking a CL-215T Avionics Technician II to support routine maintenance and troubleshooting of avionics on multiple aircraft under Part 145 and occasional Part 91 operations. The role requires reading schematics, installing avionics gear, and ensuring regulatory compliance while maintaining a safe, efficient work environment.

The position operates on a 12 on/12 off day schedule year-round with no requirement to live in Belgrade, MT.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience maintaining aircraft avionics systems.
• High School Diploma is required.
• Valid Driver’s License and Passport are required.
• Valid A&P License is required.
• Experience in a 145 Repair Station is preferred.
• Firefighting aircraft experience is preferred.
• Must be able to travel for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a team with high ethics, integrity, safety, and honesty.
• Communicate clearly on technical data, quality conformity, and time management.
• Read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
• Wire, install, test, and verify avionics equipment; troubleshoot electronics faults.
• Modify wire harnesses; fabricate new harnesses as needed.
• Ensure maintenance/modifications comply with FAA regulations and manufacturer instructions.
• Assist with all aircraft maintenance duties.
• Make sound decisions on job sequence, troubleshooting, and discrepancies.
