Job summary

A leading IT services provider is seeking a Software Configuration Management Consultant for a contract opportunity in Nashville, TN. The role involves managing SCM processes for an application development project using Hybris technology. Responsibilities include extracting Java code from GIT, importing it into Rational ClearCase, and ensuring build integrity through Jenkins automation. Ideal candidates will have extensive experience with SCM tools and processes, along with strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience with Rational ClearCase UCM.
• At least 4 years of experience in Build Automation using Jenkins.
• Experience with ANT build scripts for Java applications.

Responsibilities

• Extract Java code from GIT repository at the end of each sprint.
• Import source code into Rational ClearCase.
• Perform ClearCase UCM tasks and ensure code integrity.

Skills

Rational ClearCase UCM (5 yrs minimum)

Build Automation with Jenkins (4 yrs minimum)

Build script experience using ANT (4 yrs minimum)

Knowledge of SCM Processes and Procedures (5 yrs minimum)

Understanding of JAVA development
