Job summary

Community Health System in Fresno/Clovis CA is seeking a Supply Chain Management Distribution Tech 1 to support receiving, stocking and distribution of supplies. You will ensure accurate inventory handling, and report variances to inventory control.

Opportunity to advance to Tech 2 after demonstrating required skills. Position starts with inventory duties, accuracy checks, and collaboration with departments.

Qualifications

• 6 months of stock clerk or related experience preferred.
• Computer entry skills for maintaining inventory records preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle receiving, distribution, replenishment and stocking of supplies.
• Distribute materials to departments efficiently; report variances such as damages or missing items.

Responsibilities

The Supply Chain Management Distribution Tech 1 is responsible for supply chain operations and logistics functions to include, receiving, distribution, product delivery and par/point of use replenishment and stocking. Distributes supplies and materials to proper departments in an efficient and effective manner. Reports variances to inventory control including damages, defects and missing items.

Incumbents hired into the level 1 have the opportunity to promote into the Tech 2 position once the necessary skills and abilities are demonstrated.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
• 6 months of previous experience as a Stock Clerk or related experience such as inventory, delivery and sorting preferred
• Computer entry skills for maintaining inventory records preferred
