Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology in Omaha, NE, seeks a SCITLS Power Platform User Support specialist to support Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint users serving USSTRATCOM. This is an ON-SITE, DAY SHIFT role at Offutt AFB with relocation assistance.

Requirements: 1+ years of related IT experience, US citizenship, an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, and the ability to obtain ITIL 4/5 ITSM within 9 months and CompTIA Security+ within 30 days.

Job Description

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies. SCITLS is a key component that ensures mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments. Our work depends on a SCITLS Power Platform User Support joining our team to support the users of Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint platforms that serve USSTRATCOM. The SCITLS Power Platform User Support will be a critical link in ensuring the effective operation of vital systems and facilitating the success of the SCITLS mission. This is an ON-SITE, DAY SHIFT position at Offutt AFB, Sarpy County, Nebraska. On-call work may be required. Relocation assistance available.

HOW A SCITLS POWER PLATFORM USER SUPPORT WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Provides user support to assist system administrators.
• Creates and maintains various collaboration and data solutions.
• Successfully responds to user requests for assistance.
• Collaborates on architecture upgrades and consolidations.
• Interfaces with internal and external program staff to provide access to program data via collaboration tools.
• Assists with external account requests and access issues.
• Analyzes user requests and incidents to determine level of complexity and the priority.
• Identifies and implements resolutions.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
• Experience: 1+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Power Apps, Microsoft Power Automate, or Microsoft SharePoint
• Experience providing support and assisting with issues
• Experience supporting users, including troubleshooting, onboarding, and training.
• Ability to collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for translating technical issues into clear, actionable guidance.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Must possess or be able to obtain within 9 months of start: ITIL® 4 or 5: IT Service Management (ITSM) Certification
• Must possess or be able to obtain within 30 days of start: CompTia Security+
• Must possess Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
• US Citizenship required

The likely salary range for this position is $72,877 - $98,599. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
