Job summary

General Dynamics IT is seeking a Construction Surveillance Technician to provide day-to-day security for SCIF/SAP construction programs in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves enforcing SOPs, managing escorts, and documenting construction activities for final accreditation.

Required 1–2 years of related experience, SFPC/SPSC/SPED certifications, and a TS/SCI clearance (with CI polygraph possible). Bachelor's degree preferred to count toward experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related experience.
• SFPC counts towards 3 years of experience.
• SPSC counts towards 5 years of experience.
• SPED Certifications max 5 years equivalent experience.
• Must have TS/SCI clearance or be eligible to obtain TS/SCI with CI polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Assess, identify and communicate recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems.
• Identify threats, vulnerabilities and potential risks.
• Draft security incident reports and briefs to government and civilian agencies including military senior leaders.
• Manage uniformed escort personnel and associated logs; train and brief site security duties and report incidents to site lead.
• Follow and enforce customers’ SOPs.
• Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by site lead or Senior Security Representative.
• Conduct inspections of materials delivered for secure space construction.
• Photograph and continuously monitor construction and document steps to support accreditation packets.
