Job description

We are seeking an Scientist-In Vitro ADME to join IQVIA’s laboratory business at Indianapolis, IN.

In this role, you will perform technical procedures and experimental execution in support of sample analysis, method development, and validation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and timely delivery of quality data.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Perform and document analytical procedures in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Contribute to design and execution of routine methods/assays under moderate supervision.
  • Participate in technical discussions, experimental design, and data review.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and process improvements to enhance data quality and efficiency.
  • Lead laboratory or cross-functional projects and support implementation.
  • Act as a technical resource for laboratory staff and provide training in areas of expertise.
  • Prepare data analysis results for upload to LIMS under guidance of senior staff.
  • Perform calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and prepare buffers/solutions as required.
What We Are Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, or related field required.
  • 1–2 years of experience in method development or specific methodology area, or Master’s degree; equivalent combination of education, training, and experience accepted.
  • Knowledge of analytical techniques, method development principles, and sample handling.
  • Other Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree.
The Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Needed For This Role
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.
  • Strong technical knowledge of complex analytical techniques and regulatory standards (GLP).
  • Proficiency with data analysis techniques and calculations; good computer skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $51,800.00 - $108,000.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
